Joe Donaeo Hervey

Joe D. Hervey, 71, of Dallas, TX. Celebration of Life will be officiated by Rev. Stephen Searl. Joe Donaeo Hervey was born in Hunt County on June 5, 1950 to the parents of Joe Crear and Dorothy Hervey. He peacefully departed his life on February 28, 2022 surrounded by family and his children at Baylor Scott & White-Sunnyvale. During his early youth he attended and later graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. In 1990, he gave his life to Christ at Southern Crest Baptist Church, where he became an ordained minister and served for the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Kendall Nicole Hervey, Delores B. Johnson, two sons, Joe D. Hervey, Jr., and Jonathan D. Hervey, Sr. (Brianna). He leaves behinds his three siblings, one brother in law and sister in law, Beverly and Lee McClenton, Reginald and Margaret Crear, Machel McNealy. He leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren that he loved and adored very much. Our father was a strong and intelligent man. He was a protector who had great wisdom. He stood for what he believed in. No one could tell a story like him. He loved his children at no cost. He lived a full life with memories it was never a dull moment with Joe Tha Kid. Your wings were ready to fly to heaven to be one of God’s strongest soldiers, but we weren’t ready to let you go from here on out. Watch over us, walk with us every step of the way, guide us through life. Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
