Sis. Ruby Madden Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Ruby Madden was granted her wings on June 17, 2022 at the age of 83. She was known for her amazing smile, words of wisdom and selfless heart. She threw her energies into raising her children, grandchildren and other family members. Even though her family was large, she made time for everyone. Her greatest passion was helping those in need and being a true support system to not just her family, but others in the community. She would deliver food on Sundays to the nursing homes and always helped or fed a stranger. She lived a full life and accepted Christ at an early age. She was a faithful member of Holy Temple Church of God In Christ, where she worked diligent for the church as an usher, choir member and serving GOD. She was born to the late William and Katherine Robertson on April 3, 1939 in Lindale, Texas. She was the third child of five children and very close to her siblings. She moved to Terrell at a young age of 17 and received her formal education at Burnett High School. She met Milton Madden and they were united in marriage in 1961. She was proceeded in her death by: husband- Milton Madden Sr.; daughter- Geannie Madden; son- Lenny Wilson; grandson- Milton Madden III; sisters- Betty Anderson and Valrie Morrow and brother- Jackie Robertson. Ruby leaves to Cherish her memories: children- Monica (Philip) Diwa, Milton (Eula) Madden Jr, Derwin Madden, Ethel (Cupcake) Livingston, Willie Jackson and Jermaine Jackson; sister- Lillie Denson; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; special nephew- Glenn Anderson; special adopted sister- Dorothy Brown and special friend- Alise Kennedy.
